Big Brother Movies is an old-fashioned type shop. It prides itself on having a wide selection of movies and games, and the staff are passionate about what they do.

It was always the idea ever since it opened (close to twenty years ago as Casablanca Video) that this wasn't going to be a huge impersonal shop which stocked loads of sweets and popcorn whilst offering to develop your photos and clean your car at the same time. No, Big Brother Movies always has and always will be about films and games. If a great new flick has just been released you know we're going to have it.

What we like most about our shop is that it's a part of the community. Everyone knows us and we've been here forever. You're more than welcome to pop in for a chat. Quite often we spend an hour or two chatting away and then forget we're meant to be running a business.

In recent years a lot of stores have been closing - not just independents but also the big chains like Vid Biz and Blockbuster. We're now the only indepedent store left in the area and it's all because of our dedication to new releases and a wide selection of games. And also because our staff are friendly and passionate about films. People respond to the personal way of doing business and it's why we've been here for so long and will be for years to come.

We're currently undergoing some changes to make things even better. Brand new DVD cover sleeves, a website (obviously, as you can see), a wider selection of new releases and the latest Xbox 360 and PSP games. And the crazy part is we've still kept the same deals.
